Kier Building Maintenance took over the delivery of the contract in July 2001 and has worked in partnership with Brighton and Hove City Council to improve the service delivered to tenants.
Many changes have been made to improve the service, including the introduction of a comprehensive appointment system. The partnership is now able to demonstrate extremely high levels of customer satisfaction and the Kier Repairs Forum is well established.
The contract maintains approximately 13,000 properties in the city. Competencies and capabilities include responsive repairs, major responsive repairs, control centre, planned maintenance and adaptations.
