Graduate Engineer, Kier Build
My first day was scary for all the reasons you would expect - you don’t know where to go, or who anyone is. I didn’t immediately have a specific job to get on with. I was told to learn about the project and given lots of drawings to look at. People talked in acronyms I didn’t understand.

Part Exchange Manager, Twigden Homes
Since leaving college I have always worked within the housing industry, either in new homes or estate agency. In my current role as part exchange manager I like the variety of the work and the fact that I am in total control. |
