Graduate Engineer, Kier Build
My first day was scary for all the reasons you would expect - you don’t know where to go, or who anyone is. I didn’t immediately have a specific job to get on with. I was told to learn about the project and given lots of drawings to look at. People talked in acronyms I didn’t understand.

Resident Liaison Officer, Kier Building Maintenance
I started my career as an apprentice decorator. I did a variety of decorating work but was encouraged to learn other parts of the building trade and this gave me great opportunities to progress my different trade skills. |
