Cranes
A comprehensive range of tower cranes and crawler cranes are available nationwide from the crane department.
Kier Plant has added a new breed of self-erecting remote-controlled cranes, which are ideally suited for smaller construction sites and cramped urban locations.
The various Potain Igo models include the Potain Igo 50, which has a maximum jib length of 40m with a lifting capacity of up to four tonnes.
Using wireless technology, it can be hydraulically erected and operated at the touch of a button on a hand-held unit. As well as being compact, the foldaway Igo runs on clean and quiet electrical power, which is ideal for smaller, low-rise sites such as residential development and tight brownfield sites.
