Kier, a leading provider of construction and infrastructure services, is recruiting for specialised roles within its telecoms business to support the delivery of a new full fibre broadband network in Swindon.

Kier is working for the UK’s largest digital infrastructure firm, Openreach to provide next generation broadband - full fibre – and the work in Swindon will support its nationwide plans to deliver full fibre broadband to 20m premises by the mid- 2020s.

Over the next 18 months, Kier will survey, plan and construct a new network to premises in Swindon as well as and its work in Swindon as well as Royal Bassett and Highworth and is looking for talented individuals to join its growing team.

There are a range of roles currently available, including surveyors, jointers, cablers and splicers and next year, Kier intends to recruit for further positions – with ambitions to double its workforce by the end of 2021.

All successful applicants will benefit from training, from both Kier and Openreach, in a commitment to upskill and support career progression within the telecoms industry.
