Kier, a leading construction and infrastructure services company, has jointly secured the highest number of shortlisted entries at this year’s prestigious Construction News Awards. Kier has secured finalist spots in nine categories, which celebrate the very best companies, projects and achievements across construction.

Over 60 judges reviewed entries from 160 construction businesses across 21 categories, with two of Kier’s projects securing not one, but two finalist places. The £253m new build resettlement prison at Wellingborough is being delivered on behalf of the Ministry of Justice and has been nominated for Best Use of Technology’ and ‘Digital Construction Excellence’. Our work on Smart Motorways has also been recognised, being shortlisted in the ‘Health, Safety and Wellbeing Excellence (Project)’ and ‘Supply Chain Excellence’ categories.

Jenna Bates and Kate Dybeck, both from Kier Regional Building have also been recognised as ‘Rising Stars’.
