Kier Property, the development arm of Kier Group, has secured planning consent for its Logistics City scheme in Whiteley, Hampshire. The site located near Solent Way, is the last remaining undeveloped plot of the Fulcrum Business Park.

The application was unanimously approved and Kier Property will now work with its consultants to bring forward three warehouse units totalling 58,664 sq ft.

The scheme has already generated interest from prospective occupiers with a pre-let for one of the units expected to be announced shortly. The letting agents are Lambert Smith Hampton and Vail Williams.

Leigh Thomas, executive director for Kier Property commented: “We are delighted to receive planning for our scheme. We have already tendered the building contract and expect to be on-site this summer with PC (practical completion) in Spring 2020.”
