Kier, a leading provider of construction and infrastructure services, has successfully been reappointed by Virgin Media to deliver vital telecoms infrastructure across the UK.

Kier will build on nearly 20 years of experience working with Virgin Media, to deliver civil engineering works as a partner on its new £2.5bn framework. Kier will support Virgin Media’s ambitions to deliver gigabit broadband connections to over 15 million[1] homes by the end of 2021.  

The contract starts in April and spans five years, with a potential two-year extension.

Kier will carry out works for Virgin Media in Scotland, South London, South Coast and South East of England.
  

Over the duration of the contract, Kier will provide an innovative approach in line with Virgin Media’s aim to enhance the experience given to its customers.
