Working across the North East, Yorkshire and Humber
The YORbuild2 framework is available to local authorities and other public and third sector organisations to procure construction projects following an OJEU complaint contracting route. It’s available to organisations across the Yorkshire and Humber region, the Sheffield LEP area, northeast England and Lincolnshire.
Kier are proud to hold positions on all four sub-regional frameworks for lot 4 (projects £4-£10m) and lot 5 (projects over £10m). Through the framework we have worked with many customers to deliver high quality construction projects whilst engaging with the local community thorough social value.

Delivering outstanding local social value
We believe that corporate social responsibility starts with running a safe, sustainable, efficient and profitable business, so that we can share wider benefits within the communities in which we operate. This means working in a responsible way, respecting our people and supply chain, making safety and protecting the environment a priority. It also means being a good neighbour and helping our customers and their communities.
At Kier, we are committed to delivering industry-leading social impact that positively contributes to meeting the needs of the communities we work in. Kier has defined this approach through its 'Shaping our Communities' strategy and as the UK’s largest regional builder, we play a pivotal role in delivering positive benefits ranging from employment, education and training, to environment and community investment, supporting good causes.
" The programme to completion was tight, but the building quality has been maintained and operator very happy with the building. "Interim Head of Service Sheffield City Council
