The project forms part of the South Wokingham Strategic Development Location and 35% of the homes will be affordable housing, including social rent, affordable rent, and shared ownership, meeting a critical need for affordable homes in the area and a key plank of the Government’s 10 Year Infrastructure Strategy. The scheme also includes vital amenities such as a new primary school, public open spaces, and a local community centre, supporting Wokingham Borough Council’s vision for sustainable growth and a vibrant community. A detailed planning application is underway, with construction expected to begin following approval.
