Ensuring the showroom was constructed to the high standards of design set by the client and their tenant, Jardine Motors.
The showroom also included a challenging rooftop parking design.
The key to facing the challenges with the showroom was to ensure an early understanding of the tenant’s requirements and the Jaguar Land Rover brand. The design and project team worked closely with the client SEGRO and the tenant Jardine Motors Group to ensure all design standards were met. This included regular inspections from the tenants to monitor works throughout the project duration.
Careful and meticulous engineering of the rooftop parking facility was required. The team worked to ensure the parking facility was robust and stable. All structural engineering calculations were rigorously checked to combat any issues that arose.
The quality of the build matched the tenant's high-end brand image and requirements. It exceeded the expectations of both the client and their tenant.
It also reinforced the strong client relationship with SEGRO. The showroom and workshop is now open, providing a new high end facility for Jardine Motors' customers in the Slough area.
" Our tenant and representatives from Jaguar Land Rover were very pleased with the standard of finish achieved. It was interesting to hear both Lancaster Group and JLR themselves saying that they are usually presented with a development with more outstanding items for actual PC. They also went on to say that the whole process with yourselves had been a pleasurable experience "Project Director SEGRO
