The country faces a significant housing shortage, with 300,000 new homes required per annum to meet existing and projected demand.
Such is the crisis that the current Government has committed to delivering an additional one million new homes by the end of the current parliament, expected to be in 2020.
Whilst housing supply has increased in recent years, it remains short of this crucial 300,000 figure.

As a result, Project Rebus was formed; an innovative Joint Venture arrangement with equity investment from both partners.
The JV is already delivering profit to Cross Keys Homes, who are committed to further investment of affordable housing in the area. It also allows for our own resources to go further and invest in additional future housing delivery.
In its first 15 months, the JV has delivered over 600 new homes, with a pipeline of a further 2000 units secured and committed for delivery across 25 residential development sites across the east of England.
Around 500 of these will be affordable tenures, and it is likely that the ambition of the project will be to drive even greater efficiency in delivery, and ultimately, more new homes.

The Luton DART project is a joint venture project between VolkerFitzpatrick and Kier (VFK).
